Betty Burian Kirk will be demonstrating how the hair brushed from your pet can be spun into a yarn that can can be woven or knit into a luxurious scarf or keepsake. 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

September 18, Old Mill Fall Festival, sponsored by the Peotone Historical Society. Located at the Peotone Mill, 427 W. Corning Ave., Peotone, IL. Betty Burian Kirk will be demonstrating the fine art of weaving on a floor loom and spinning on a spinning Wheel. Handwoven items will be available for sale from 11 AM to 5 PM.
Saturday & Sunday September 24 & 25, Art & Wine Festival, located at Usher Park, Itasca, IL. Award winning artist Betty Burian Kirk will be exhibiting her fiber arts. Come see her latest hats and hand-woven scarves. On Sunday, she will be demonstrating her craft.
